Little Torch Key, Fla. – Feb. 20, 2012 – Little Palm Island Resort & Spa, part of the Noble House collection of luxury hotels and resorts, announces the promotion of Alex Rosado to Executive Chef of The Dining Room.

For more than two years, Puerto Rico-born Alex Rosado has been the Chef de Cuisine at one of South Florida’s most sought after dining destinations, The Dining Room at Little Palm Island Resort & Spa, ranked No. 3 in the country by Zagat, and No. 1 in Florida for hotel restaurants.

Through working alongside Corporate Chef, Luis Pous, Chef Rosado’s involvement in The Dining Room has seen numerous awards and accolades, including a Zagat rating of “Extraordinary to Perfection” across all categories: food, décor, and service.

The Dining Room at Little Palm Island tempts guests with a vibrant blend of French and Pan-Latin cuisine, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The ever-evolving menu samples the finest in fresh, local fare, incorporating indigenous ingredients.

Prior to joining Noble House Hotels & Resorts, Ltd., in 2009, Chef Rosado gained experience manned award-winning kitchens for more than a decade, including Rathbun’s, Atlanta; The Caribbean Grill at The Ritz-Carlton in San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Fontana at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables.

Rosado started his career with training at the Culinary School at The Art Institute of Atlanta.
